Netherhall Media Students Celebrate at Awards Ceremony

At the Arts Picture House

A touch of Hollywood glamour descended on Cambridge as Netherhall Sixth Form students attended the 2nd Netherhall Media 2017 Awards Ceremony at the Arts Picture House on Monday 20th March.  Hosted by David Keogh, star of new British film Destination Dewsbury, the event went amazingly well and a great time was had by all.

Awards included the Principal’s Award for outstanding achievement which was won by Alex Madej who also picked up the Keith Day Award for best Director of Photography.  No Evidence won Best Film and Mollie Gillard picked up the Cambridge TV Award for Best Director.  Will Stepney, who is studying for the prestigious Cambridge Technical Qualification, scooped up the Best Visual Effect Award for his stunning Thriller sequence and Ray Victor picked up the Best Original Screenplay award.  Watch out for these names at future awards ceremonies!
