Year 9 Students win local writing competition

Competition organised by Rock Road Library

Students from Netherhall have claimed nine of the ten prizes in the 12-16 category in a writing competition organised by Rock Road Library. Entitled 'Location as Inspiration', students were challenged to write about Cambridge in the past, present or future. They responded with a range of imaginative and inventive work in a range of styles, including poetry, descriptive writing and short stories. The competition attracted over 200 entries from across Cambridge and was judged by children's author Julian Sedgwick. Congratulations to the following students:
