Induction Days

Tuesday 3rd and Wednesday 4th July

Following the Transition evening there will be 2 days induction for Year 6 pupils. Instead of going to primary school, pupils will come directly to Netherhall. Please ensure they are in the playground by 8.30am where they will be welcomed by members of staff and some current Netherhall pupils.

During the two days we will lay on a packed programme, helping them get to know the school and some of the teachers, including their tutor, and engaging them with fun activities in the classroom.

Each day will finish at 3.00pm. Please make appropriate arrangements for your child to get home safely.

What will they need for the days?

Food: If your child wishes to bring a packed lunch and/or a packed snack for morning break-time, they will not need to bring money. Those hoping to buy a snack and/or lunch in the canteen should find that £4.00 is sufficient to cover the cost of both.

Travel: The majority of our new pupils will be walking to school. If your child wishes to come by bicycle, it should be parked in the bike sheds, it is very imported that it is locked.

Clothing: Please ensure your child wears loose casual clothing suitable for participation in sport.

Equipment: This will be provided by us.
