Students expressed a wide range of political views and showed an impressive awareness of the current issues.  They were asked why young people are so reluctant to get involved in politics and why so few register to vote or use their vote.  Some of the students echoed the disillusionment attributed to young voters but many showed a willingness to get involved with one even indicating that he might consider a career in politics - after working for a few years!

Studying Government and Politics has given the students greater insight into some of the complexities of political life and they were able to respond to their interviewer with very thoughtful replies.
