Year 9 Options
This process is well under way. The vast majority of parents and students attended an Information and Guidance Evening on 13th January. The students have been given booklets detailing the Key Stage 4 curriculum. They will receive the form on which they record their choices on Friday 28th January following the Parent Consultation Evening on Thursday 27th January 2011. This has to be returned to the Key Stage Office by Friday February 11th.
Below is a table of key dates students and parents should be aware of when considering the Options process:

| 22nd January – 11 February 2011 | Tutors and Key Stage Office to meet selected students |
| 11th February | Final date for return of KS4 Request Forms |
| 14th February – 11th March | Initial processing of requests |
| 14th March – 8th April | Further discussion, feedback and interviews as needed |
| 26th April – 27th May | School works out if all proposed subjects and courses can be timetabled |
| June | Students to be informed about KS4 subjects & courses |
