Young Enterprise
As part of the 6th form enrichment programme, students can take part in the Young Enterprise Company programme during year 12.
Students set up and run a real business for 1 year and gain experience of the real commercial world. Students can take a exam which covers what they have learned during the exercise, and this qualification is an NVQ2 (equivalent to Grade C GCSE).
In the spring all programmes compete in local and regional heats, when the performance of the student business is judged against other schools.
