We offer a large range of A-level courses, but what makes us different from other Sixth Form Colleges is that we have a maximum intake of 250 students. This means that we can teach A-levels in smaller group sizes. Our average class sizes are approximately 16, so we can provide additional individual guidance which benefits all A-level students.

Netherhall Sixth Form aims for excellence and I am convinced that this can only be achieved in an environment where students are secure and happy. Our expectations are that Sixth Form students will work hard and, therefore, be able to take full advantage of the expertise and commitment of our staff. We are able to provide high quality teaching within excellent study facilities.

I am also proud of the pastoral support which is available to all students and which encourages them to achieve their full potential. This combines with an excellent Enrichment Programme and a wide range of social activities, many organised by an energetic Sixth Form Council. However, I don’t expect you simply to take my word for it. Come and see for yourselves. Ask the students who are currently studying with us and I am confident that you will get a very positive response from them.

Clare Wright
Head of Sixth Form
