Following clarification of various contractual arrangements I can now confirm that Willmott Dixon will commence the construction of the new school buildings on the
7th July 2008. Representatives of the School and Cambridgeshire County Council met with the Willmott Dixon Project Team on Friday 27th June to finalise the start date and agree the initial construction programme. The first stage of the project will be the construction of a two storey Teaching Block together with an extension to the existing Music Block. This phase of the project will be completed by July 2009 and be ready for occupation from the beginning of the 2009/10 academic year. Construction of the new Science Block will start during the summer of 2009 and be completed by May 2010. This is an exciting time at Netherhall and the School together with Willmott Dixon are looking forward to a mutually beneficial partnership. The school is already attracting national attention for its innovative work and these facilities will enable the school to provide outstanding provision for all our students and families to enjoy.
