"So much talent!" Netherhall congratulated on production of 'Les Miserables' School's Edition
Students and staff have received much praise from those who attended the recent spectacular production of ‘Les Miserables’ School’s Edition, in November 2008. Over 100 participants took part in the show both on stage and behind the scenes!
“I came to Friday’s performance. My children were not in it (so I am a reasonably impartial judge). It was an absolutely superb show. The best production I have ever seen at Netherhall. Thoroughly entertaining and utterly compelling to watch. It was extremely moving – I laughed, I cried! Great acting, excellent music, magnificent singing. Congratulations to everyone involved.”
“I feel I must write to say how much I enjoyed “Les Miserables” on Friday evening. The cast was superb – some fantastic voices – so much talent!”

“Congratulations to all those involved in the production of “Les Miserables”. ”
“I appreciated the immense effort and admired the poignancy achieved as well as the dramatic and humorous moments.”
“The performers deserve every credit.”
“When I first heard that Netherhall were planning to put on the Schools Edition of Les Miserables for their autumn musical production I was astounded that a school would undertake anything so ambitious. I, like many others, have been a huge fan of this stunning musical since it opened in London. However, I had foolishly not considered the dedication, commitment and enthusiasm of staff and students that would be given to this project and the performance was wonderful.”

“The students seemed to fully understand the characters that they were portraying and delivered the complexities of the story to the audience superbly.”
“Every word was clearly sung and easily heard. The acting, facial expressions and attention given to the detail of each character (from minor to major roles) came across readily.”
“Thank you for giving our children the chance to partake in a really wonderful production; for giving them the opportunity to sing and play some wonderful music; for giving them a platform to show just what, with guidance and huge amounts of support, young people are really capable of.“
“Our children are very privileged to have a team of teachers who are willing to give so much of themselves for the benefit of the students.”
“It was truly a magical evening!!”
