Student Remote Access

By admin • Jul 30th, 2008 • Category: Uncategorized

We are pleased to announce a trial of remote access to students. At the moment, you are able to access the school’s Moodle Course Management System only with some students able to log in to a full Windows desktop via Citrix too. We will be launching wider access to the school’s full network system in Early 2010.

You are required to have latest version of Java installed on your computer. If you do not have Java you will be prompted to install it. If you decline the update you will not be able to use the system.

Java is provided by Sun Microsystems. The Netherhall School is not responsible problems arising from or support of your Java installation. As a safeguard, we recommend you virus scan any files you download from the Internet.

The remote access system is operated by Cambridgeshire County Council. The Netherhall School is not responsible for problems caused by disruption or maintenance of Cambridgeshire County Council systems. Information on scheduled maintenance will be detailed on this page.

You will be asked to log in with your standard username and password.

As of January 2010, there is a problem with the “4061 Moodle” link. Those with access can use Moodle through the Citrix links instead.
